The Kia Forum, also known as the Los Angeles Forum and formerly the Great Western Forum, is a multi-purpose indoor stadium in Inglewood, California, United States. The Kia Forum, also known as the Los Angeles Forum and formerly the Great Western Forum, is a multi-purpose indoor stadium in Inglewood, California, United States, next to Los Angeles. Located on West Manchester Boulevard, with Pincay Drive to the south and between Kareem Court and Prairie Avenue to the east and west, it is north of the SoFi Stadium and the Hollywood Park Casino, and about 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The Bee Gees appeared at the Forum during their Children of the World tour on December 20, 1976; the series was recorded and released as Here At Last.

Previous Kia Forum artists include Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, Drake, MANÁ, Jennifer Lopez, John Mayer, Bon Jovi, The Weeknd, Tame Impala, Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish and more. The Lakers won the 1972 NBA Finals at the Forum in the fifth game, while the second and most recent New York Knicks championship also won the fifth game in the same place the following season. Three Dog Night recorded their set, which was later released as a live album entitled Captured Live at the Forum. It was owned by the church's for-profit entity, Forum Enterprises, which housed secular and pop artists.

While the classical motifs and soaring pillars of the Forum were nods to ancient Rome, its engineering was state-of-the-art. In 2000, the Forum was purchased by the Faithful Central Biblical Church, which used it for occasional religious services and leased it for sporting events, concerts and other events. On the site of a former golf course, Jack Kent Cooke (owner of the Lakers and founding owner of the Kings) built the fabulous Forum (as the locals colloquially called it) in 1967. Passers-by passing through Inglewood saw a new sign placed outside the venue last Thursday, proclaiming it Kia Forum, thanks to a naming rights agreement between the car manufacturer and the owner of the venue, Steve Ballmer. The company recently purchased naming rights from Ballmer, who purchased the Forum two years ago, apparently to settle a legal battle initiated by former owner Madison Square Garden Co.

The Forum was home to the Kings and Los Angeles Lakers during the second half of the 20th century. The Forum has not released details about the agreement (first published by the digital news site Sportico) on the terms of the agreement. In addition to hosting world-class shows and national sporting events, the new Forum is scheduled to host the Olympic gymnastics Games in 2028. The Forum was built by Jack Kent Cooke, a former Canadian door-to-door salesman who became a billionaire and who I was determined to bring NHL hockey to Los Angeles. On September 30, 1987, Roger Waters, a former member of Pink Floyd, played at the Forum in the American section of Radio K.

By the middle of the decade, the Great Western Forum was considered too small; it lacked luxury boxes and didn't have enough commercial and commercial space.
